  • Affordable Spa Cover - Happy With Purchase

    I purchased a 5"x3" 1.5lb cover for my 2004 Sundance Capri hot tub in November 2016. Delivery took about 4 weeks. The cover looks good, as ordered. No shipping damage. Model: Standard 5%u201Dx3%u201D - 1.5 lb Foam ($305). I live in Georgia and think going up an inch from standard is worth a few extra dollars to hold the heat in.   • Affordable Spa Defective Product/Doesn't Honor Warranty

    This company does not seem to want to honor their warranty and is very difficult to deal with. I purchased the 5"x3" with vapor barrier cover with a supposed 5 year warranty from them. In less than a years time, I started to notice water pooling on the top and a large indentation forming in the foam. Water collects inside the cover and has caused it to deform.     OMG The worst service EVER!!!! I ordered a cover 1.5 months ago. I was out of the country and expected my cover to be here when I returned. I called and they said they had to put my cover on hold because they ran out of the color I wanted, Never notified me of this delay. That was over a week ago and they said it would be sent out the next day. 6 weeks since I ordered. I called again today and they gave me a UPS shipping number that didn't exist.   • Defective products

    I ordered a spa cover with a lifter and thermal blanket from Affordable Spa Covers in June, 2012. After 2 months the thermal blanket stopped floating and the "bubble" on the blanket deflated. The price of the spa included the aforementioned items and their warranty is "bumper to bumper". When I called the let them know of the defect, I was told by Diane, Stacey and Alex that it was not their problem because the do not manufacture the thermal blanket.   • Outstanding Customer Service

    I’m extremely impressed with the quality and service from AFFORDABLE SPA COVERS (ASC). I purchased the 4” to 2” tapered cover with 1.5 pound foam. When I received my first cover from ASC it had minor damage from Estes (the shipping company). I was told if your cover gets damaged during shipping not to accept it. I almost signed for it since the damage was minimal but the driver also told me I didn’t have to accept it, so I did not sign for it and he took it back.   • Slow, slow, slow

    I have waited almost 3 weeks for a stupid garden variety spa cover, and it still won't be here for another 3 days. These guys are slow, and apparently, indifferent. Hopefully the spa cover will be alright. Reading their disclaimers, if it's damaged in shipment, I am stuck with it once the delivery guy leaves.     I have had a terrible experience with AFFORDABLE SPA COVERS. I placed and paid for my order on Sunday 12/19, it was processed 12/20. Despite the claim on their web-site that they ship in 48 hours my cover did not ship until January 14th. This was after calling them or requesting assistance through their web-site a half dozen times. This company does not know how to communicate!     Ordering on the Internet can sometimes be an aggravating experience. Most of the time, it is either non performing sellers, who once the order & money is received, seem to disappear OR buyers who do not follow the seller's instruction and therefore become dissatisfied with the seller's performance (or lack of it). I read a review on this site written by a person who received damaged goods from "Affordable". I ordered a round spa cover, 5 to 3, 2lb. foam, double-wrapped from Affordable Spa Covers. I'm very pleased with my cover. The order was fast and I was updated through email during the entire process. My cover works great! I will order my next cover through them again. Thank you AFC.

As a hot tub cover dealer, I buy all my hot tub covers from ASC and have for the past 3 years. I've dealt with other manufacturers as well. The owner of Affordable Spa Covers is an innovator in the industry and has been making spa covers since he was 14 years old. He learned this business from the ground up and is sincere about his product and customer service. I've never been ignored or felt as if he was indifferent to my orders or my customers. His operation is clean and efficient. He is clear about his policies and the fact that you should inspect your cover upon delivery! The truck driver signs for the pickup saying it is not damaged. Damage will be by the trucking company and Affordable needs the customers help to recoup any losses. I understand that and I make sure my customers, getting drop shipments from Affordable, understand that as well. Shipping costs for a hot tub cover are $100+ It's not fair to want Affordable to accept that loss when all that is required is to inspect the hot tub cover and refuse it if damaged!
