GREAT EXPERIENCE! - Spa Cover


Ordering on the Internet can sometimes be an aggravating experience. Most of the time, it is either non performing sellers, who once the order & money is received, seem to disappear OR buyers who do not follow the seller's instruction and therefore become dissatisfied with the seller's performance (or lack of it).

I read a review on this site written by a person who received damaged goods from "Affordable". Even though she knew that this seller directed that an inspection of the caver be made UPON DELIVERY, she chose not to do so. LATER, upon finding damage, she did not receive the seller assistance as she felt she should get. In this case the choice was HERS.
I received my spa cover 10/06/10.
Ordering Process: PERFECT

Condition of Cover: PERFECT
Overall Experience: PERFECT

I'm not sure who wrote the "good" review however my experience was/is awful! I ordered my spa cover after speaking with rep on phone and being assured it was made from a mfg template. When I recieved an email confirming Measurements I wrote back and told them I never measured I just gave them brand/model #, so in essence I never "confirmed" any measurements. Well I received my cover which doesn't fit at all. It hangs over about 2" and looks really cheap. I don't think I got the upgrades I pay for but the only way I can find out would be to take it apart. It's a piece of garbage. My electric bills are so high I had to disconnect until I can figure a way to seal the edges. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I have had a terrible experience with AFFORDABLE SPA COVERS. I placed and paid for my order on Sunday 12/19, it was processed 12/20. Despite the claim on their web-site that they ship in 48 hours my cover did not ship until January 14th. This was after calling them or requesting assistance through their web-site a half dozen times. This company does not know how to communicate! To complicate my order further it was damaged in shipping. Again 5 non returned calls before someone finally answered 11 days after the shipment was refused. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY DO NOT COMMUNICATE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS-

To whom it may concern I ordered a spa cover from Spa Mate Spa Covers in July of 2010. When they sent me the diagram measurements the were wrong. I called the company and the assured me it would fit. When I received the cover it was 2" to big on both sides. I have tried time and time again resolve this problem. They refuse to admit there mistake. All i want is to return the cover and be reimbursed. Please help me recover my loses. I feel I have been more than patient and would like to resolve this matter. So I can proceed to work a reputable company to get a new cover that fits.

How long did it take to get? Did it ship a long way. I cant even get a tracking number from them.
